How can i get a proof of purchase from Apple physical store

Found similar question here but it looks like that after few months it’s already impossible to write there, so here’s the new thread.


here’s the story:


On 19th of August I went Physical Apple Store on Orchard Road (Singapore) to purchase Airpods Pro. When arrived there i had to signup for a “product experience” first. Which I did (and i have a confirmation email of that) - when it was the right time I returned to Apple Store and went i side for a purchase. Eventually I purchased Airpods Pro and during the purchase session apple store sales person gave me the device to input my email address so that i would receive a receipt with purchase confirmation (and she suggested that in case of return / refund / warranty - i would need to use that email) - however, 4 days later and I still got no email or any indication of purchase.


is it possible to request an email confirmation for common sense needs?

P.S. - for some reason when i tried to select the other topic for this thread it doesn’t have anything related to Airpods Pro or physical store issues, or receipts - but it is obligated that once you click you must select something from their list. So i picked iphone x 🤷‍♀️ - i mean it’s not really related but since website doesn’t allow you to select select “nothing” - here it is.

I’m very well aware that this is the user forum.

my point was is to ask for a suggestions from users who may had similar experience.


as usually right after purchase in physical apple store - i would get email almost instantly - but this time it wasn’t the case. I wrote apple an email about this. And tried contacting support but their only option is to call to store directly.


is this really the only option?

did anyone had any similar cases? I realize that such cases are probably not common, giving the quality of Apple experience.

Just posting here in case anyone else will have similar problem.

eventually I believe i found a solution:


In apple support app you need to go to Hardware Coverage > Send Proof of Purchase > enter your serial number (of purchase that you haven’t got receipt for) and they will schedule a call For you with apple advisor.

I just did that and scheduled a call for tomorrow. Will update here - but i guess advisor will just re-send an email with invoice and it’ll be fine.
