Apple refused to recognise purchase date of Airpods Pro bought online from Shopee

I recently bought an Airpods Pro from Shopee


called Apple to try to register the date of purchase


Apple said that the Shopee confirmation of purchase was not enough - and Apple needed an "invoice" from the seller


After much pestering, I finally managed to get an invoice from the seller


Apple said the invoice was missing the seller's address, full name and telephone details


After much pestering, i finally got the seller to reissue an invoice that met all Apple's requirements - and then Apple turned around to say the fact that the seller could amend its invoice easily meant the seller somehow cannot be verified and my product (even though genuine) cannot be verified as purchased on my date of purchase


what is going on Apple???
