Why am I not receiving emails from certain senders?

Why am I not receiving emails from certain senders? I've checked their mail is not going to junk & they have not been blocked. They have repeatedly confirmed that they have sent mail to my correct email address @icloud.com. Any ideas?

MacBook, macOS 10.14
