Well, we have CenturyLink ADSL with a dedicated phone line coming out of the wall (not being used for a landline, just for the internet connection). We are close to the node/their box. And we are on an "all included" price for internet only which will never change (unless we change plans). The modem/router had to be leased or purchased from CenturyLink and is an ADSL modem/router with their name on it. It is just over 2 years old. Previously we had Comcast, but I objected to their prices vs. services offered. At least we get the (medium) speed we pay for; with Comcasts ancient 35 year old cables throughout the neighborhood, we never got much faster than dialup although we paid for 50 mbps. And, those two are the only two choices here except satellite.
Edit: And, in my case, when the internet connection goes poof - nothing works: not my iMac, neither of our laptops or Pads. Until I reset it, that is.
IP address has nothing to do with your iPhone.
Maybe your router?
Hi, lets say that the person who done it, told me, after it checked all my phone with my IP address from my router, it got access to the IP address because i left my phone unlocked by accident.
If someone used my IP address from my router how would i know? I mean besides they told me.
How do i use a DHCP?
I am not getting any type of “conflicting error” what do you mean by that?
To Clarify - I’m mentioning about conflict, because that would occur - though “hacking” is the issue here.
“I know what caused your confusion; what was mis-read and then confused you.”
And what is that. I must be confused a third-time.
True, it's already mentioned by MrHoffman.
