There has been a problem with the connection with the server AirPort Time Capsule.local

Hello,


I’m setting up a new iMac and I want to copy my data from my Time Machine back up. In the migration assistent I choose my connect AirPort Time Capsule, and enter my password.

And then I get the message that there has been a problem with the confectie-industrie. What do I have to do nog?

Try mounting the Time Capsule in Finder..


If you have trouble use top menu, Go, Connect to Server and type in


AFP://10.0.1.1 (replace with the TC actual IP address)


When asked for password type that in.


Once mounted test that you can copy a file to the TC disk and back to the computer.. then try again with Migration Assistant..


No luck you might need to copy the backup to USB via the archive function in the airport utility.
