Did you get a message that it is using a "Legacy Extension?"
You should be able to remove MBAM from its help menu, though if it is using a legacy extension, it is an older version.

Legacy Malwarebytes, it was an accident. I don't remember how it happened. this is a screen grab of there logo. thanks
Which legacy malware are you referring to?
Why would you have any malware on a Mac, legacy or otherwise?
I don’t use it, but I don’t believe it’s a legacy app.
It’s obviously running, so did you try simply uninstalling it?
