On the iPhone notes app, if you lock a note and send it to someone what happens on the recipients side? Is it locked? Do you have to give them the password? Is it unlocked what happens when you send it to someone?

If it’s locked with a password, unless they know the password, they can’t unlock it to read it. When you lock it with a password, that applies to everyone.
If you mean how do you send the note via text, tap the share icon which is the square with the arrow pointI got up, then select Messages from the share sheet that pops up after you tap the share icon.
If you want to add a person, tap the icon next to the share icon, the one that looks like a generic figure.
That’s awesome! Ok, here is another question, how do I send a message? I watched a video that showed an add person at the top of the app but mine isn’t showing that. I have an iPhone 11.
Thank you. I can’t share to a person using only notes? See the person icon at the top...the video says click that and then you can add a person to the note....I don’t see that option.
What else do you want share? I’m not sure exactly what you are asking. Help me understand a little better. Explain in more detail.
I don’t have the person icon next to share :( that’s what I’m having the issue with.
You have to open the note that you want to share. It doesn’t work if the note isn’t open on the screen. The Note has to be an iCloud note as well, not a note in the on my iPhone folder.

Create a note in the iCloud folder, not in the on my iPhone folder. It only works with iCloud Notes.
