If I send a locked note what happens on the recipient side?

On the iPhone notes app, if you lock a note and send it to someone what happens on the recipients side? Is it locked? Do you have to give them the password? Is it unlocked what happens when you send it to someone?

If you mean how do you send the note via text, tap the share icon which is the square with the arrow pointI got up, then select Messages from the share sheet that pops up after you tap the share icon.


If you want to add a person, tap the icon next to the share icon, the one that looks like a generic figure.
