iPad 7th Gen won’t power on

My iPad was lagged and kept app jumping so I decided to restart, but I couldn’t turn it back on again. I held the power and home bottons like usual to turn on the iPad but the logo kept fading in and out without doing anything. The screen also implied that I need to connect the cable with my Mac but nothing happened. I tried to install iPhone to my Mac but failed.
