What is "Background App Refresh" on iPhone? When I go on the "Settings" app and to the apps list it is switched as "On" but in frozen mode. So my questions are as follows: What is the purpose of it? Where would I find it in "Settings" to switch it on and off? If I switch it off, what are the pros and cons of it? Stuck in search on iPhone iOS 16.1.1 I upgraded to IOS 16 and now I can’t get out of the search screen. I can only swipe down for the time/notifications and settings. I can’t swipe up, tap, or search anything in the search bar. I’ve tried shutting the phone off and also restarting it, but it still shows this. I can get into apps from their notifications, but only the ones I have notifications for.
