I recently permanently deleted all the photos from my Iphone 5S as I had transferred them to my Iphone 7. I didn't realise they would disappear from the 7 as well. I had over a 1,000 photos.
How do I go about recovering them?

If you were using iCloud Photos, when you delete them on one device, you delete them everywhere. Try looking in the Recently Deleted Album in the photos app. If they aren’t there, they are gone.
