Apple invoice appears blank on printing or saving as PDF

I've noticed several posts about this and have experienced similar today, but have found a clunky work around if anyone is interested.
I've been going through all my emails for the last financial year to save the invoices for my accounts today. I'd been happily saving them in a folder and noticed that some were blank with just the header information. I tried Print > Save as PDF to no avail. I tried re-setting printers as one post suggested. In the end the simple solution was to check the Landscape option in print settings and all info appeared. Don't understand why but at least I can get copies OK.
