Deleted voice memos on iCloud storage... anything I can do?

My iCloud storage limit was nearing the 200gb limit, to free up space I decided to remove photos from iCloud (they are stored on google anyway), I also decided to uncheck the voice memos as I thought that these were happily stored on my iPhone pro max.

I use the voice memos to capture songs and ideas for music, but today on opening the app I seem to have lost about a year of files!

I looked on my phones recently deleted folder and there is no sign of the voice memos.

Logging into iCloud from my iPhone 11 Pro max I can't see any option (like Mac) for restore files.

If I restore my phone from backup, is there only one back up available or can I restore from one say a week ago where all my creations were stored happily on my phone?

what are my options if any? I am gutted to say the least.
