Hi ambwng,

Thanks for confirming. We'll be sure to point you in the right direction.

Let's start your Mac in safe mode to verify if the issue resolves itself. Safe mode clears cached data and prevents login items from loading, so it's a great way to test if an issue is related to cached data or login items.

Here's a detailed guide with the steps to start and test in safe mode:

How to use safe mode on your Mac

Let us know what you find upon using the App Store in safe mode.

Hi ambwng,

Thanks for reaching out through Apple Support Communities! We're certainly glad to look into this with you and help, so that your Apple ID photo updates properly in the Mac App Store app.

Let us know if it helps to edit or change the profile picture directly on the iCloud website following the instructions in this guide:

Change your Apple ID photo in Settings on iCloud.com

Have a great day!

Thank you for the reply :)

Sadly my 1st keyboard keeps spamming the letter d so i wont be able to use it. My second one wont connect bc you have to enter certain numbers for it to connect and the number keys are broken on it.

Will this work? I found it on this website:

How to Boot to Safe Mode in macOS - Make Tech Easier

If Your Mac Has No Keyboard to Boot Up In Safe Mode or You Can’t Use Shift Key

If you don’t have a keyboard to boot up in safe mode, but you can access your Mac remotely, configure it to start up in Safe mode from a command line.

1. Open Terminal remotely or log in to your Mac using SSH to access the command line.

2. Use this Terminal command:

sudo nvram boot-args="-x"

3. After using safe mode, return to normal startup using this Terminal command:

sudo nvram boot-args=""

Or is there a solution without having to do safe mode?

Again, thanks all.
