recents folder inside of finder

so I download pictures or documents

and they show on these folders and also on the recents folder how do I clear that folder and not the one in the apple icon please and thank you

Recents isn’t a ‘location’ it just shows recently accessed files. You can turn off the recents view in Finder menu > Preferences.

If this is the folder you meant, then click on it; select all the files shown in the Finder, CTRL- or RIGHT-click on the selection and select "Move to the Trash" from the context menu.

If you had some other Recents folder in mind, then please provide a clear description of that to which you were referring.
