Start with these three, check SpamCop or SpamHaus to see if your IP is there...

Sometimes an ISP will bloc a whole other ISP too, if it's the source of too much SPAM.

It depends on the reason for eMails being returned. What error message do you see?

Hmm. Might be an SMTP error on your outgoing mail server. WebMail doesn't use SMTP which explains why web mail works.

I suddenly started having all sorts of problems with my iPhone after having a tech guy reset & reinstall Windows 10 on a practically new (but purchased used) laptop. Discovered he has me on a Domain & a million other issues I can’t shake.

Every device I own has been useless &. none of my emails are working. I “had” a profitable online sales business when I got whammied. Yesterday I discovered all of my iPhone settings were changed, including “DONT ALLOW” CHANGES (for my AppleID password) toggle on! Although I did change it, it had me in a perpetual loop saying PW was wrong.. change it again etc. Would you assume it was the 2 emails I sent the iPhone from the laptop? I also tethered my iPhone to transfer pics etc to the laptop & used the iPhone’s hotspot?

Is all this something that can be proven & should report him? do these guys make money by doing this to people?

Is the your ISP blocked or just your IP?

How secure of a password does your Hotspot have, as well as your Router & Wifi have?

Your IP can be spoofed, so it need not really be your systems sending the spam.

I would suspect Windows use before anything else, but the whole point behind spam is making money.

A pain, but can you use WebMail n a Browser in the interim?

I followed the link to Spamhaus and my ip is listed on the XBL ? whatever that means.. with a link to follow. I followed the directions but everything just clears from their screen. I filled it out again to start over, then it just clears again. I have had so much trouble with this phone! What do I do now??

If I move all of my photos etc thru my laptop to a portable drive & change my (gmail) AppleID, and/or do a hard reset... can anything dangerous be transferred thru the USB connection? Is the problem the phone or everything related to it also, like the gmail? I desperately need an account for banking.

I have several online sales accounts, am I right to not use this account or is it the phone? (Remember, I plugged this phone into the laptop the day b4 the trouble started)

Thing is ...this time I know who caused the trouble. The guy I had wipe & reinstall Windows 10 is Facebook friends with my neighbor/stalker & graduated together. So.. yeah. He added my Lenovo laptop to a Domain & there are seriously (I counted) 37 different users!! Most with admin permissions) But the iPhone mail started working when I found that ?? Like parental block. (I posted the reply)

Now, for the 4 th month all my data was gone in 4 days!!! I don’t even use this because of the trouble! All my setting are changed constantly... just a lot. Today the Game profile is back on my AppleID!

When I try to access in setting my account it will load for hours then close. Or send this pop up

idk how to delete that last screenshot but also it says all of my space is full, yet over half is grey. I deleted almost every app but 2 I installed. Idk what’s taking up the space?!!

If your IP is listed none of that will help, you need to have your provider or ISP change your IP if you Spamcop or Spamhaus doesn't work. :(
