I tried to link an apple gift card to my Apple ID...not to buy something now, but to have it show as a credit for later use. The system charged my credit card instead. I've searched help topics and looked for "contact us" info - no luck. Anybody know: 1. how I can get a credit card refund, and 2. how I correctly apply apple gift cards to my account, as a credit for later use?

Refund: On the email, there is no "report a problem"; only "visit apple support" which is what I tried before
GC: I used one of your links and somehow got to an offer to send apple an email. I did so (detailing both issues)...hope it works.

I did just get an email back from someone at Apple who totally misunderstood what I was asking. So I'm playing that game now, and hope to get things figured out.
