Updating my apps

I have for a while changed my Apple ID on my phone and it has been working perfectly until I need to update a new app. Every time I try to update my apps it asked me for the Apple ID password, but when I enter it it says is incorrect. I tried putting random password to see where it would take me. Turns out it’s still using my old Apple ID for the App Store. I don’t know how to Put my current Apple ID so I can download and update apps

Those purchases are tied to the other ID and can't be transferred. One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.

Purchase History Review.

Or you can try to set up Family Sharing  between the IDs to keep access to your purchases.
