Help with MacBook

I keep having to boot the system by pressing Shift Control option power because it shuts off. I have a MacBook Air. Is there a way to fix this permanently? It's a 2014 model I really don't want to upgrade. Can I replace the battery not sure. It says its holding a charge.

Look into Battery Replacement:

Yes. You can replace the battery. Is this covered in warranty in any way? If so, have Apple take care of it, as having a Third-Party take care of this would cancel the protection in an instant. If not, have Apple or an AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) replace the battery.

Contact Information:

A. Contacting Apple:

Or...

B. Contacting an AASP:

  1. Go Here: Find Locations - Apple Authorized Reseller
  2. Click: Service & Support
  3. Enter: your location information
  4. See: if there is an AASP nearby
  5. Contact: an AASP that shows up, and find out more about the services that they offer to fix this MacBook Air
