iCloud locked phone

Only the original owner can unlock the phone as it’s still connected to their account.

If you know the seller then contact them & ask them to remove the phone from their account. If they refuse or ignore you then there’s nothing you can do. Apple will not help unless you are the original buyer & have proof of purchase/ownership.

No contact the person you bought it from.

The only way to get past an activation lock is to get the person who set it up to remove it. Apple cannot help in this situation.
