When I read or archive emails on my iphone quickly, they are not being marked as read on my MacBook Pro in Mail. I’m using g-suite for my email, however I have two g-suite accounts and the other one worked fine.

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. It sounds like the Mail app isn't updating to reflect that you've made changes to your mail on your iOS device, on your MacBook Pro as quickly as it should, is that correct? If so, let's go ahead and check your settings to ensure they are set to push the updates.
On your iOS device, go to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Fetch New Data, and turn on Push.

I’m using an email address that belongs to a G-Suite account
Emails read on iPhone are still marked as unread on mail/gmail
