Secondary Y-Axis for Scatter Plot?

You can create a 2D 2-Axis chart in Numbers. What about a 2D 2-Axis scatter plot in numbers? The only works arounds seem to be scaling and copying and overlaying a regular scatter plot. A very nonsensical way to do it. Is there any other work around, or perhaps undocumented 2D 2-Axis Scatter Plot hidden away somewhere?

Numbers 2D Chart Is it possible to change the axis numbers assigns to a new data series? My chart is good with one series assigned to the first Y axis and one series assigned to the second Y axis. When I add a third data series it seems to be assigned to the second Y axis by default. I need it to be assigned to the first Y axis for the display to be useful. I have not yet found a way to change the axis to which the third data series is assigned.

numbers charts I am trying to create an x-y scatter chart in Numbers. The directions published everywhere seem simple but don't work for me. I have also seen posts which have the same problem I have but no solution. I select two different data columns command clicking on the column letter name, I insert a 2D scatter chart, and get a straight line of dots. The data from one column only is used on both axis. I go to the formatting sidebar and try to change one of the axis. Either nothing changes or the other axis changes to agree. Always a straight line. What am I missing?

To the best of my knowledge, there is not a 2-axis scatter chart.

Correct. Unfortunately. I’ll have to check in Excel prices.

there is one, but it is not on the pop up you use to make the chart from the tool bar above.

Select your current line chart
Show the format pane (paintbrush button in top right)
Click the Chart tab at the top
Then scroll down to the bottom where it says "Chart Type"
click the pop up selector
At the very bottom is 2D 2-axis
