Apple TV

Can I view Apple TV on my MacBook without any more hardware? If that's possible, then is it possible just to hook my MacBook up to the TV monitor and play Apple TV?

You can get the Apple TV App on your MacBook if it’s able to be upgraded to MacOS Catalina or you can watch Apple TV Plus on a browser @ tv.apple.com
