Transfer data from old 5s to new iphone se no WIFI

I was transferring my info from my old 5s iphone to new iphone se. The transfer data never completed and my apps are in they are in between twilight zone as though they are download from the cloud. The wifi was active during download and now doesn't work. I have turn off wifi and reconnected. I see the wifi icon for one second and then it gone. My wifi connect prompt is connected in system but the icon disappears immediately in the top left hand corner. Rebooted router turn off se iphone held the volume buttons up down and off turn phone off still no wifi. Reset network settings.

Everything. I tried a factory reset that doesn't work. Tried itunes nothing works.

Call Apple, my Iphone provider. On hold for Comcast help would be 60 minutes. I don't think so.

Please, some one help me. Yes sim card is in the correct way the only way.

Hello,

I want to thank everyone for there replies and help.

I do my best thinking before bedtime.

I went to sleep with a plan for the next day.

The answer was, I turned off my Norton’s VPN my WiFi icon appeared/active and all my apps downloaded in 15-30 minutes. I have a lot of them and depending on the size it took that long.

So, the answer for me was VPN off and resubscribing to Norton’s after the iCloud download. : )

Up and running!

Did you try using computer iTunes?

Note: Apps are not in the backup and cannot be transferred directly from iPhone to iPhone, only the apps' data.

Apps will re-downloaded from App Store under your purchased items.

Wi-Fi or cellular data is needed to connect to the Internet.
