Macbook air wont charge

Macbook air won’t charge after I shut it off to reboot. The battery said it was charging but wasn’t plugged in so I shut the computer off and now it won’t turn back on. Tried multiple different chargers and ports. The mac was making the connect to power sign when I was trying to do an SMC reset but now it won’t respond whatsoever and has a black screen. what should I do.

Hey there sorry for the troubles! You did the right thing trying multiple chargers and resetting the SMC. Another step you could try is plugging in to another outlet, resetting the SMC again and test.

Most likely if that still results in no power at all, it needs to be repaired, hope it works out okay!
