Updating apps

Recently I bought Mac air 2020 .. After using some time , later when I am about to update the in build app like number, garage band , keynote etc.. My Mac shows that updates r unavailable because it was purchased by different apple id... Now I don't know what to do

I get a message "This update is not available for this Apple ID because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled." I bought my Macbook pro a couple of days ago and it already shows me that I have to update some applications. (garage band, keynote, numbers, and pages) When I click on update it shows this message., " This update is not available for this apple id because it was bought by a..." I then click on "ok" and now the applications have an "open" button where the "update" button used to be. The only problem is that my App Store icon still shows the notifications on it reminding me that these applications still need to be updated. How can I properly update these applications?

Apple ID not allowing updates Hey there, I just bought a new MacBook air two days ago. I have always had the same apple id and when I check the app store on my laptop it says "iMovie cannot be updated because it was refunded or purchased with a different Apple ID." and it says this for several other apps as well. I am confused as to why it is saying this because I just want to make sure that everything is updated and running smoothly, does anyone know a solution to this problem? Thanks in advance & stay safe!

The work around is to delete the apps and then redownload them.
