Your MacBook Air wants you to turn on an input device: Set up your Apple wireless mouse, keyboard, and trackpad. Are its built-in keyboard and trackpad not working?
Do not use that Mac. Get it fixed: https://support.apple.com/repair
Thank you for replying. The issue is that these two icons flash on my screen After a shift power key restart. I can’t get to any screen to do anything they just flash.
I posted a couple of pictures of what the display looks like
... After a shift power key restart.
I don't know what that means. Did you try restarting your Mac in the usual manner?
The pictures are of a Magic Trackpad and Magic Mouse, respectively. Your Mac can't find an input device and it's telling you to turn them on.
I have not had a mouse for over 4 years and have never owned a track pad. Another odd thing is that the touch pad is extremely hot to the touch.
once these icons appear I can’t get off the page.
