Hi! So this interface worked perfectly with my MacBook Pro. I've got a new iMac, loaded the software for the interface, plugged it in and got nothing. I restarted the computer, the interface came on, but after I typed in my password, all the lights went off, it shut down again and the software said, no device recognised. I've no idea what's happened. Any ideas?

Reset the SMC as per > How to reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support
and then the NVRAM as per > Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support
Also try the Roland Community, they may have a better handle on using that interface with a new iMac than the reckoning advisor.
What audio interface?
Are both Mac’s running Catalina?
If the MacBookPro is on an earlier macOS, then you need to see if their are 64 Bit Catarina drivers for the audio interface.

Other USB devices are working and I've contacted Roland. Had a chat with an advisor who reckoned it maybe something to do with the T2 chip or NVRAM/PRAM
It's a Roland QUAD-CAPTURE. the MacBook was running High Sierra, the iMac is running Catalina.
I'm running the new driver, but it isn't picking up the interface.
My audio interface is not running on my new Mac!!
