Can I attach a Sony CCD TRV 608 to my iMac and import older videos? (Hi-8 tape format)

Most tape based players are supported by iMovie. So yours should work, although with more recent versions of iMovie importing can be hit or miss.


The TRV608 is an analog camera so in order to import footage into iMovie the footage will first need to be converted to digital with a digital converter. Use a firewire connection.
