Low Power Mode and notifications

Hi there,

My company recently changed our Calendar app for a third party one (so far we were using the iOS’s native app for scheduling).

Since I’m used to leave my low power mode on all the time, now noticed I’m not getting calendar notifications anymore (because the new app requires internet to fetch data from mail services, while the native app keeps the appointments stored locally). I imagine that’s because iPhones low power mode disables background app refresh as default.

I was wondering if there’s something I can do to enable Low Power Mode and keep background app refresh on. It would also work if I could choose just specific apps to do so, but both situations would be ok for my purpose here.

I wandered through settings and forums and couldn’t find anything.

thank you

Victor
