New Podcasts not showing up when I try to sync iPod Nano 7th generation

I recently upgraded to Catalina and have the latest version. I discovered that when you connect the iPod it shows up in Apple Music, but when you click on Sync Settings a Finder window opens. The problem is that when I choose the Podcast tab, podcast episodes that I know are on the computer (as they show up in the Podcasts app) do not appear in the list of Podcasts I can sync to the iPod. Anyone know how to fix this?

I've been having this same issue for months now. I just tried going into Activity Monitor and quitting AMPLibraryAgent. When I went back to my iPod in finder window the newly downloaded podcasts finally showed up in the list. However, I went to sync the new podcast to my old nano and it wouldn't sync even though it is checked. I went back to Activity Monitor and quit AMPDevicesAgent. And then back to the iPod in finder. Only then was it able to sync the new podcasts. I wouldn't call this a fix but more clues to where the problem is.

Either I did not explain myself well or you did not read the whole post. When the Finder Window comes up after I click on Sync Setting in Apple Music, and then I click the Podcasts tab, podcasts I know are on my computer do not come up so I cannot sync them to the iPod. This is the issue I'm asking about. How do I get all my podcasts to show up so I can sync them.
