iMovie 10.1.15 Problems since Apple macOS 10.15.6 update

Apple, help! You fixed some bugs with importing footage. Great... but you broke about 10+ other VITAL things! Summary in this video to help you solve these, fast, please: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQlwTDfuH4w

Bugs include:

  • Crop - does not work, can't crop and NO Ken Burns!
  • Play with spacebar or preview footage only works if you click on footage in events and then come back to main timeline! Ahhh...
  • Can't add a PNG watermark in video timeline, which worked for YEARS!
  • Can't select a clip and edit with tools in upper-right (sound, color, crop, etc) - you have to click and select just before said clip and then you can do some global stuff, but one step at a time! Well, see video, hard to explain
  • Can't do this and can't do that!
  • Export to YouTube - Multiple BUGS some very obvious!
  • Export to File (and YouTube, FaceBook) where is my 4k?!!!

I hope you can fix this quickly. It is almost as bad as that release about 10 years ago... you know, where you all of a sudden just took out all kinds of features!

UPDATE - - - Fixing SOME of the iMovie 10.1.15 Problems with Apple macOS 10.15.6 update: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96ee-xFqtzg

Delete your Preferences in iMovie my quitting iMovie. Then hold down the OPTION (Alt) & COMMAND keys while re-starting iMovie... It zaps them, but leaves your footage alone. I show this in the video as well. This HELPS, but does NOT fix the Exporting bugs that were introduced... Apple?

Also, you can't see the seconds on a clip. Where you could see for each clip/picture how long it was, now it shows the name of the image/video. I usually edit my videos knowing how long each little section is in order to see if it needs slow motion or any other speed adjustment. It's not only annoying, but it makes it literally impossible for me to edit a video.
