TRANSFERRING PHOTOS FROM ICLOUD TO PHOTOS APP ON MACBOOK
Hi everyone! I'm trying to transfer my photos from my icloud account to the Photos app on my macbook pro. I have watched countless videos and read innumerable articles, scoured the support pages and the community questions and still nothing works. I have the "download originals to this mac" box ticked on the Photos app preferences. I understand how to download the photos from icloud.com in a zip file on my mac but I want to store them on Photos so all my photos are together. I don't understand why it's not synching and I've been trying for 3 days! I hope someone out there has some more suggestions or reasons as to why it isn't doing what every video and article says it should be doing. PLEASE DON'T DIRECT ME TO THE APPLE SUPPORT PAGE AS I'VE READ IT A BUNCH OF TIMES AND IT'S NOT WORKING! TIA!
