On my MacBook Pro using Airdrop how can I transfer apps from one iPad to another iPad?

I want to transfer all the data and apps from an old iPad 10.3.3 to a new iPad 13.4. iPad is too old to use automatic transfer. Can I use Airdrop on my MacBook Pro to do the transfer?

iPad, iOS 10

No, AirDrop will not be applicable here, but you can use iTunes on your MacBook Pro (MBP) to back-up from your old iPad and restore on your new iPad. Also, not using the MBP, you may use iCloud to transfer data between the iPads.
