I have an iPhone paid off with no past due attached to that phone and they won’t unlock it?

I have an IPhone 6s I bought through AT&T it has no past due balance or even a contract paid in full not stolen just want to switch companies they are refusing to unlock until I pay a balance from 2 different paid off phones.

Phone lock I bought a iPhone use for my wireless store. My daughter used I broke my phone I did a factory reset and now it’s saying it’s locked to Verizon wireless. I paid $700 for the shoes from two years ago. I don’t know the people and I cannot find my receipt, so now the stores acting like they can’t help me like they never sold me the phone what do I do?

iphone carrier unlocking options I bought a used Tmobile Iphone 13 pro max from an electronics store on ebay (Samanthatronics). At the time and even now I am a tmobile customer. However in September I am going to Canada to Study for 4 years. I contacted Tmobile to have the device unlocked only to be told that the previous owner left an existing financing balance on their contract. They refused to unlock it. Since I am already invested in this device for over 700 usd I requested the figure of the balance and offered to pay it off. However they said that since I was not the previous owner I would not be allowed to know the figure or to pay off the tab and that they cant do anything about getting it unlocked. It boggles my mind that Tmobile would refuse my money to pay off the tab because I was not the original owner lol. Do I have any options in getting it unlocked thru apple or otherwise ?

Hello, Apple is not authorized to remove any carrier locks that have been put in place on any iPhones or iPads or iPod touches. Only the carrier is authorized to do this.
