Upgraded iCloud Reminders never deleted, causes huge sync problems.

Huge problem with the Upgraded reminders, the problem is spread across all my apple device when I use the reminders with icloud.

When I activate the icloud setting for the reminders on any device, for instance, my macbook, I notice the cpu start to get 100% and the reminders are not synced with icloud for 2 hours, after that, the reminders on the macbook goes well.

The same issue is going on with my other devices, on the ipad, and iphone is the same thing, except the processing time before the reminders goes well is very long, maybe 1 or 2 days, after that. reminders goes well. On my apple watch, if I activate the icloud setting on reminders on my iphone, the battery on the apple watch drain very quickly and the reminders never synced on apple watch.

The only workaround I've found is to use the reminders in local mode. I've tried many thing to get over the problem, like sign off the icloud on all device, the sign in with non result, I've done all the advises I had from apple support.

One thing I have tried have succeed, I've created a new icloud account, if a use that account, the reminders work like a charm. So this behavior sound to me the problem is directly link to my icloud account.

Lately I've do some tests on my macbook, so i've found in the library directory Library/Reminders/Container_v1/Stores a sqlite database who has the upgraded reminders.

When I set up the icloud setting on reminders, the sqlite db start to grown slowly from 200K to 200Mo in 2 hours of processing time, while the database grown the cpu hit the 100% usage. After that the reminders are synced with the icloud account.

So, I've push my investigation more in the database, i've found in the ZREMCDOBJECT table, there is more than 57000 olds reminders (usually daily recurring reminders), after some tests, when I create a reminders, mark done and deleted it, i've notice only thing that change is the status in the table, the record is never deleted. So, as long you use the upgraded reminders, the sqlite database who support the apps is growing non stop, and someday, the database is so huge that cause performance issues with any devices who use the upgraded reminders.

This is very annoying, and I as far i’m concerned very surprising from Apple.
