LG External Display Screen Turns Black Randomly (32UL750-w)

I'm having the same issue related in this thread https://discussions.apple.com/create/question?communityId=2097020

I just got a new MacBook 16 inches and still having the same issue, I already contact the LG support and there is no issues with the screen.

I tried a different computer (not Mac) and no problem were detected.

Another problem I realized. the screen is 31.5 inches but when I check the display info in the System Information on my Mac it shows 27 inches.

I already tried to reset SMC, PRAM and NVRAM but there is no changes.

There are any update on that?

Hello chuck_3rd, I already tried the procedures on this page but the only solution I found is use the screen with an adapter and an HDMI cable.... that way I have no problem to display the images, but I need an extra adapter.

We're having the same issue with a recently purchased https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-27gl650f-b-gaming-monitor : Monitor initially is fine, then randomly goes black, usually this can be addressed by suspending and resuming the macbook. Can you say a little more about the adapter and cable that solved the problem for you?

My issue is with USB-C cable, I switched to an regular HDMI cable and Anker adapter for USB-C (https://www.amazon.com/Anker-MacBook-PowerExpand-Thunderbolt-Delivery/dp/B07YZ48HCT)

The thing is I still want to use the USB-C for charging and video but seems it will be not possible
