SAITAKE STK-7007F BLUETOOTH ISSUE

Hi Guys,

I am hoping someone here has had this problem and found a way to fix it. I recently bought the Saitake STK-7007F controller to use with my iPhone 8, but it does not seem to be working at all. When I connect the device to the phone it connects easily enough. But when I open the ShootingPlus V3 app, it shows the following error message:

”Due to the Bluetooth compatibility issue of iOS 3.4 and above system, the current device cannot be used normally. If you need to continue normal use, please click the “Feedback” button to report the problem to Apple’s Official and let it fix the system Bluetooth bug.”

I clicked on the feedback button and it took me to a page where I had to sign up to be a beta tester or something like that. Does Apple know of any bug that might be causing this?

your assistance is highly appreciated.

Thanks.

It’s the same thing with me. A steady connection only works on Android and HID. iOS just jumps back to Android the minute your Bluetooth connects.

It says on the packaging “iOS 3.4 above is not supported”, which is something that was not advertised.

I suppose this is more an issue on Saitake’s side than Apple. You can use iTunes to downgrade your device to iOS 3.3, but for me it’s not really worth it. This problem has been there for ages. Saitake doesn’t take their customers seriously.
