Please unlock IPAD and Please unlock iPhone

I keep getting the messages over and over again from both iPhone and iPad. I hear my iPhone beep but no message comes up asking me to trust. I would get the Trust question all the time uploading pictures to Windows but not with my MAC. I reinstalled the latest software on all devices with no help.

I spent about 2 hours with apple support with no luck. They seemed to have me try everything but nothing helped. The message to trust had flashed quickly on my iPad a couple of times and I was able to catch it and reply yes. That time it loaded the pictures but never again did I see the message.
