Microsoft Teams quitting on iPads

I am getting reports of iPads quitting out of Microsoft Teams and returning to the home when the users try to open Teams. This is happening on the app, but also denying access on the browser based Teams. I have had users clear the cache on Teams and Safari to no avail. It also seems to be random as not all iPads are affected. It's not a credentials error as the users can access Teams on other devices. I know that Microsoft reported an issue like this in late July, but they report the issue as resolved. Anyone else seeing this issue?
