Contacts saved between two Apple IDs

I have two iPhones with different Apple IDs configured on each device. When I save a contact on my business phone it is immediately synced to my private phone and vice versa, although both phones have different iCloud accounts setup. How can I stop this?

iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 13

Hi BenGee80,

It sounds like you're having an issue where your contacts are saving between two different iPhones. We want to look into this with you. You'll want to start by checking which accounts you have showing on both iPhones. Tap Settings > Passwords & Accounts. Under Accounts, check for any that show Contacts. Then check to see which account is set as the default account by tapping Settings > Contacts. What shows for the "Default Account" here? When you create a new contact this is the account it's created with. If these are listed the same on both devices, you'll want to change it to your desired accounts.

Manage and delete contacts on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Let us know if this helps.

Cheers!
