When changed the Touch Bar to spaces view, the Control Strip expansion fails

same issue as this thread, https://discussions.apple.com/thread/251049234 happening on a brand new macbook pro 16...

Able to reproduce the bug on other mbps too...

I really miss the F keys... the touch bar is buggy, annoying and useless

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 10.15

I will be very happy if there was a way to completely disable the touch-bar, like turn it off, and have the F keys mapped to the keyboard numbers when pressing FN
