Adobe Illustrator does not open

I have a problem opening Adobe Illustrator on my MacBook Pro. I click on the App and it starts loading but nothing is happening. I have the newest version of Illustrator so there is no update to make. I've restarted the laptop a few times but it's always the same problem. But I have no problem with the other Adobe programs like Photoshop or InDesign. It's only happening with Illustrator. I hope someone can help me and knows what I have to do.
