How do I replace my Disney Plus subscription with free Verizon offer

You don't need to cancel the subscription before hand.


Follow the steps in Verizon's FAQ to add Dinsey+ to your verizon account, and then yes, log in with those credentials to the Disney+ App on your devices. You will switch your subscription information during the enrollment process in Verizon's App.

Thank you for the info Phil0124. Unfortunately that link did not work for me.


I got an email from Verizon instructing me how to enroll in the Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+ bundle which I did. But my Apple device still shows individual subscriptions for Disney+ and ESPN+. How do I verify that my account switched over from those individual subscriptions to the Verizon promotion. I read in the FAQ section of one of the sites (I think Disney+) that my current individual subscriptions would be put on hold and then resume when the Verizon promotion ended/expired. Just want to know how I can verify I did everything correctly.

According to the Verizon FAQ:

If your existing Disney+ subscription was purchased through other third

parties – This promotional offer won’t automatically replace that

subscription. After you enroll and set up your account, you’ll get an

email with information about how to manage your existing subscription.

You’ll still be billed for the existing subscription until you follow

the email instructions.


The instructions probably describe how to cancel them directly on the platform you are using. In this case Apple, so yeah, you'll need to go and cancel them through Apple, and then make sure you are logged in with the Verizon credentials to the Dinsey+ app, rather than your Apple ID.
