Smart Keyboard issue

Every time I connect my Smart Keyboard to the iPad Pro, the large charging icon flashes with an intermittent sound from the iPad. Any suggestions please?

Ensure that the Smart Connector is clean - on both the iPad and Keyboard - and that the magnetic fixing is properly aligned.

Magic Keyboard randomly disconnects from my iPad Pro. Apple Magic keyboard randomly disconnects and onscreen keyboard pops up and cannot get external keyboard back up. have been using Magic Keyboard from Apple for IPAD pro 2017 since purchase but now it disconnects at random times and keyboard on screen pops up. Smart Keyboard on my iPad Pro (2nd gen) is freezing up After installing the new IOS 13.5, the Smart Keyboard on my iPad Pro (2nd gen) started intermittently freezing and not registering keystrokes. I have made sure it’s in Type position, I have clean the connectors, and I have restarted multiple times.
