my imac 2020 has problem sometimes showing half screen spit horizontally with different color temperature. I am not sure its about ture tone display bugs.

It's a glitch, has nothing physically to do with the split window feature.

ukstanng, which video card do you have in your mac? I've experienced the color issue where it splits the color warmth down the middle but not your issue. I have the 5700XT.

I got this a lot when switching resolutions.. It was the True Tone being applied to half the screen. If you turn off true tone and then turn it back on it goes to normal (well at least it did for me). Either way it was weird.. I reported it to apple, but haven't heard anything about it. Curious to see how many people are experiencing this issue.

I have the same issue, on a brand new 27" iMac, bought it two days ago, and I first "fixed" it by turning off and on truetone. The next time it happened I turned off true tone for good - but then it happened again - to my big surprise, as I turned it off.

The last thing I just did, was turning off "Night shift", as I thought the "from sunset to sunrise" option could be the reason it happens - in the evening.

Hopefully it is a software thing, but quite dissapointing to see it has been going on for quite some time.
