I'm trying to back up my iPhoneX on my iMacPro (2017). It is showing under USB in system information, but not in Finder, so somehow the computer knows it is there. Same problem wit my iPad. I have checked all applicable settings in Finder, restarted everything, tried different ports and cables but to no avail. All software is up to date. anyone else having this problem?

Went through the list again, and found the solution. Failed to set the sidebar properly. Thanks for your help.
