Where are the original photos I am downloading from iCloud stored on my Mac?

I turned off optimize my photo library as I want to store my original photos locally. I can't seem to find where the original images are being saved to on my MacBook. Is this something I can change?

It goes where other downloads go, into the Downloads folder.

I don't think you can change where it downloads your photos.
