iCloud photos

I deleted all my photos on an old apple device as was giving it to someone else to use and it’s now deleted all my photos on all my devices. How do I retrieve them?

Check the Recently Deleted folder in Photos on one of your existing, logged in devices or at iCloud.com. If they are there, you can recover them. If not, they are gone.

Always log out of iCloud before giving away a device. When you do that, you will have the option to remove your data, including photos, from only that device.
