I linked my bank account to Apple Pay but it won't let me add or send money. Thank you

Are you at least 18 and in the USA? did you turn on Apple Cash? did you verify your ID? are you getting a message that says its restricted or locked?
Yes. Yes. No. I was able to transfer a balance paid to me to my bank account. But when I try to send money or add money to my account it says I need to set up a bank account. Venmo and PP are so much more user friendly.
